IM BAAACK and Look who turned four and what was in my mailbox.

Hi everyone I got back on Sunday had a great break and it was so nice to spend time with my sister and be spoilt by her.  We mostly just stayed at her place doing scrapping, relaxing and chatting but did do shopping and a little sightseeing.  When I left Auckland we had a five hour delay at the airport due to fog - so I was sitting on a plane for over nine hours including flight time.  When I got back my three kids each had a part of a welcome back sign they had decorated and cards for me too - got tears in my eyes so sweet and they were so excited to see me which was great - Andrew did an awesome job thank you Honey.

Talking about the kids guess who is four now as of Tuesday the 27th - My baby Kaitlyn can't believe this time next year she will be at school.  Here she is with a new outfit (I have patterned paper that has the same colours :)).  HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!

And Here is what was in the mail today from the NZ DARE team thanks so much it is awesome.
(I won the sketch challenge from last fortnight with my Candy Girl layout).  The butterfly is a little mini hand made card soo cute from the team.

No layouts to share haven't scrapped since I have been back hope to tonight or tomorrow when the big Comp starts at Scrapbooking by Design - cant wait.  It is designed for scrappers to discover their style and as I don't know what mine is it will be interesting and the prizes look great.  Check out in my links The Sketchbook NZ Megan has been busy setting up an unaffliated scrapbooking forum its great .  Well done Megan.

Hi everyone my sister got her internet up and running and here are the layouts I have done so far. I am having a great time spending time with my sister and have done some scrapping shopping too.

This Layout is for Aussie scrapjack for May - Gemma is my parents dog and she now lives in Cairns with them and Christopher misses her.

This layout is of Katie for the fortnightly sketch at Scrapbook Essentials - its using the kaitlin range of paper from Crate Paper and the princess embellishment is something I have had for ages.

This is my take for Scrapboxnz sketch of the month love the webster paper.

Here is my take for scrapbooking by designs Monthly Sketch - just love this photo.

This is my favourite and is for scrap savvys scraplift challenge - I flipped the layout as I had portrait not landscape photos.

and last but not least my layout for NZ Dares Sketch using Biszous paper.

Thats all for now - by the way scrapboooking by design has an awesome new competition check it out great prizes!!!

Scrapbookers Delight blog challenge

This weeks challenge was all about mothers being mothers day last Sunday.  My layout is about my road to motherhood which was a bit bumpy with a miscarriage, a premmie baby(Brendan), an eptopic pregnancy and losing my precious baby girl Ashley at 23 weeks. All this followed by Christopher and Kaitlyn being only 15 months different in age and the pregnancies highly monitored.   I do love being a mom and my children are precious to me and I have a lovely supportive husband but there are definitely extremely frustrating moments of being a parent but I must remember how bumpy the road was to become a parent to this gorgeous mischievous  kids.

I had a lovely Mothers Day with breakfast in bed (waffles, fruit, icecream and cream).  A long bath
reading a book -  which I haven't done in ages.  I also sorted my scrapping stuff Im taking to Oz and spent time with my family.  One of the most relaxing mothers day I have had. (My mothers Day pressie is my time off in oz and my new paper drawers with my paper no longer stored in pizza boxes)

Well look what Brendan came home with yesterday isnt it cool - Im so proud of him.  He is doing so well at school.

Well the truly trendy contest is over I didn't get anywhere but two kiwis did - Louise and Ilka got 2 out of five runner up positions and and my sister got a highly commended  for her cosy cottage layout which is gorgeous.

Kiwi Jack Me Up May

Sorry I haven't blog this yet I was so busy keeping it secret and then didn't reveal on the day and then forgot totally.

Well I am the guest designer at Kiwi Jack me up this month and this is my layout. I also chose the scrapper to be jacked.  I chose Louise Williams who is on the design team at Scrapbooking by design and newly appointed to the team at Embellished.  I have admired her creations for a while now and the layout I chose was one that stuck in my mind as it is stunning and great because it is a boy layout.  Go have a go and you could become the guest designer for July as well as picking the July scrapper to be Jacked.
