Dusty Attic Challenge

Last layout from AE to share - this time a layout created for a Dusty Attic Challenge using the Awesome range from Simple Stories.

Lets Get Shabby Challenge

Lets get shabby challenge was to use the following photo to inspire you to create using an Easter or spring theme.

I created this layout using Spring Jubilee papers from Pink Paislee - I love these photos of Katie staring at her Easter bunny.

Another Freaking Scrappy challenge April prompt challenge

The challenge at AFSC was perfect for a layout about Brendan putting salt instead of sugar in my tea on April Fools Day which is the theme of the challenge.

here is my layout using Pink Paislee's Daily Junque Collection

NZ Paperchase Blog Challenge April

Yes I know another blog post but am busy at work the rest of the week and have heaps to share!

Here is my layout for the NZ Paperchase blog Sketch challenge. I used my new hexagon die for it.

Twiddleybitz Challenges

Another two layouts I did at the retreat were for two challenges over at the Twiddleybitz Ning site.

Colour Challenges - I love this layout definitely the case of less is more.  I placed a mask under the Kraft Core Cardstock and sanded it to make the background effect.

Here is my layout for the inspiration challenge:

Prima April PPP and April BAP

A palette filled with pinks, blues, and purples, this month's PPP is perfect to inspire those Easter and springtime projects!

I created this layout and used my new Lucky Eight punch with Prima Meadow lark products .

With The Prima BAP I used the Alla Prima range which is just perfect for Beach Photos!

Autumn Escape 2012

Well I am back after a long weekend away at Autumn Escape. Our adventure started on Thursday at Scotties when Annelie picked me up and we went to fetch Jane.  We had lunch at Macdonalds and set off for Taupo. Very busy on the roads and I took over the driving at Huntly (not used to European cars so the window wipers went off a few times LOL).

We stayed at De Bretts in a lodge that was so comfortable and a great price. Here is where I slept not bad for a bunk bed.

The views from the verandah of our unit:

We (Annelie, Jane, Sue, Emma and myself) had an amazing dinner at Bistro Lago (Simon from Master Chef is the executive Chef there). I had the duet of lamb and is was amazing like all the other meals the other ladies had.

In the morning we headed off to Autumn Escape. It was great to meet new people and to catch up and see a few familiar faces.

My table centrepiece which I shared with Fay and Sam as there were only three or four to a table.

The Candy Bar which I did not visit much as I am more of a chocolate girl!

Our welcome pack - I ended up with two as Fay gave me hers - thanks Fay!:

I did Piradee's mini album class and Rachel's Smash Album and enjoyed them a lot. Thanks Piradee and Rachel!

Me with lovely Piradee - it was great to meet you Piradee:

I also managed to do ten layouts one of which is this one for the Pink Paislee Challenge - there was a bit of a mistake on this one with the misting!

I had a ton of food to eat - buffet meals every meal !
I snuck in a little time to have a spa and slept better then any other retreat I have been on.
We even thought we had an earthquake but it was a steam release from the resort that shook the building!

I had a great time thanks Nic, Lucy and crew for a great weekend.
Did you know there is going to be a Spring Escape?

Challenge me happy Challenge no 20

The Challenge over at Challenge me Happy was Anything Goes.  I decided to create a layout about Annelies daughter's crush on Brendan - it is so cute what she said. I have used some old Bo Bunny papers.

March Prima Product pick and Palette and Prima BAP

This months Prima Product pick is spring colours or Easter colours.

So I did an Easter layout with Katie pulling a funny face. A mix of new and older products from Prima.

My BAP layout this Month is using the gorgeous new Fairybelle Collection. The photos are of Kaitie before she went to the Knight and Princess ball last year.
